SOCIETY OF FSP ELECTS OFFICERS & DIRECTORS FOR 2020-2021
ARDMORE, PA ? The Society of Financial Service Professionals, a multidisciplinary community of credentialed financial professionals, has elected its executive committee and three new board members for the 2020-2021 term.
Serving on the executive committee are president, Michael J. McGlothlin, CLU, ChFC, CFP; president-elect, Kathleen W. Bilderback, JD, LLM, AEP; secretary, Ernest J. Guerriero, CLU, ChFC, CEBS, CPCU, CPC, CMS, AIF, RICP, CPFA; and immediate past president, Robert B. Wellendorf, II, CLU, AEP, CAP.
FSP past president and Nominating Committee chair, Elvin D. Turner, JD, MBA, commented on the impressive credentials and exemplary leadership skills of the newly elected FSP Board.
Mike McGlothlin is executive vice president at Ash Brokerage in Fort Wayne, specializing in retirement planning, relationship building, and practice management. He is a sought-after author and public speaker. He regularly publishes articles, videos, podcasts, and books on retirement and practice management. As a former student manager at Indiana University, he set up a scholarship that awards full college tuition and books to a student manager of any sport.
President-Elect Kathleen Bilderback, is a founding member of Affinity Law Group in St. Louis where she specializes in estate, business, and executive benefits planning. She is a nationally recognized speaker and author. She has also served as an adjunct professor in the LLM program at Washington University?s School of Law and is actively involved with the St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation.
Newly elected secretary Ernie Guerriero is vice president of Marketing for Security Mutual Life Insurance Company of NY, where he is responsible for developing, coordinating, and directing marketing and sales-related operations. Prior to joining SMLNY, Ernie held positions at American Retirement Association, Guardian Life Insurance Company, National Life of Vermont, Aviva, and MONY.
Rob Wellendorf is president of EXECSO, Inc. a consulting and planning firm specializing in business succession and executive benefits, based in Omaha. A past president of the Society of FSP's Omaha Chapter, he is also active in his local chapter of the Estate Planning Council. Rob is on the advisory committee of Yale Richards
The Society of FSP also elected three new members to its national board of directors, each of whom will serve a three-year term on the 14-member board. They are Troy D. Branch, JD, CLU, ChFC, of Ameritas Life Insurance Company in Lincoln, Nebraska; Michele B. Collins, JD, of MassMutual Financial Group in Boston; and Kelly Dancy, JD, of Walny Legal Group in Milwaukee.
At Ameritas, Troy Branch is director, Advanced Markets, where he consults with client advisors and insurance professionals. His areas of expertise include nonqualified executive benefits planning, estate planning, wealth management, and risk management.
Michele Collins is a member of the advanced sales team at MassMutual where she provides estate, business, charitable, retirement, special needs, and financial planning case assistance to MassMutual agents and financial planners.
Kelly Dancy?s practice areas as a partner with Walny Legal Group include estate planning and administration, probate, business succession, and asset protection planning.
David M. Maola, JD, MBA, chief executive officer of the Society of FSP, serves on the board and executive committee in an ex officio capacity.
